Zhao Wu, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of School of Information Science and Technology. From 1991.9 to 1995.7, he studied in the Department of Electronics of Northwest University, majoring in semiconductor physics and devices, and received his B.S. degree; From 1995.9 to 1998.7, he studied in the Department of Electronics of Northwest University, majoring in radio electronics, and received his M.S. degree; From 2004.9 to 2009.7, he studied in Xi'an Institute of Optical Precision Machinery of Chinese Academy of Sciences for his Ph.D. degree and received his Ph.D. degree in engineering. From 2014.8 to 2015.8, he went to Singapore Nanyang Technological University as a visiting scholar. He is mainly engaged in teaching and research work in the discipline of electronic science and technology. He has taught 9 courses such as "Fundamentals of Semiconductor Integrated Circuit Design" and "Electronic Circuit CAD Technology" to undergraduate and graduate students. He has undertaken and participated in 11 educational reform projects from Shaanxi Province and the university, published 3 teaching papers, and edited and published 1 textbook. His research interests are wide band semiconductor materials and devices, low-dimensional materials and devices, and analog integrated circuit design. He has undertaken and participated in more than 30 projects of the National Science and Technology Support Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education's "Spring Project", Shaanxi Provincial Key Projects, U.S. International Cooperation in Applied Materials, and Shaanxi Provincial Education Department Key Projects. He has published 130 papers in Science Advance, Small, Advanced Optical Materials and other journals at home and abroad (including 1 ESI, highly cited paper, 68 SCI indexed papers and 19 EI indexed papers), 21 authorized patents and 43 accepted patents. He has received 4 awards for teaching achievements at provincial and ministerial level (1 at national level), 1 second prize for science and technology of Shaanxi higher education institutions, and 3 times as "Excellent Teacher of Northwest University".
